Students learn essential skills to become proficient members of a camera crew, whether as a camera operator, assistant camera, or other roles within the camera department.

Camera Operation Students gain hands-on experience with a variety of professional camera systems, learning the fundamentals of camera operation, including framing, focusing, and adjusting exposure settings.

Cinematography Techniques The class covers essential cinematography techniques such as shot composition, camera movement, and lighting principles. Students learn how to create visually compelling images that serve the story and enhance the overall cinematic experience.

Equipment Familiarization Students become familiar with a range of camera equipment, accessories, and tools commonly used on film sets. This includes cameras, lenses, filters, stabilizers, and other gear essential for capturing high-quality footage.
